“Sunday Night with Kel Richards”

Between 8pm and midnight (Sydney time) on Sundays, Kel Richards presents a weekly talk show packed full of helpful information, expert guests, topical interviews, and your questions and comments on the open line.

Kel is a well know author, journalist and broadcaster who has been part of the Sydney radio scene since the invention of electricity (or so he claims!) In the past Kel has hosted his own top rating evening show on 2GB, the ABC’s daily radio current affairs show “AM”, and the popular “Word Watch” show about words and language.

Kel is the author of 41 books ranging from crime novels to children’s books and including the best selling “Aussie Bible” that’s now sold more than 120,000 copies.

Kel is also a Lay Canon at St Andrew’s Cathedral (he says that means he’s a small bore!)

Share your puzzles about life “and your wisdom and experience“ by being part of “Sunday Night with Kel Richards” on Magic 2CH.

Listeners outside Sydney can hear the program on this website. Click on the “listen live” facility.

Halal Certification

The subject is—halal certification.

This is a mark of approval put onto a lot of the food you and I eat—including Vegemite, Kellog’s Corn Flakes and Cadbury’s Freddo Frogs.

To put this halal mark on their products these companies have to pay money—pay a fee to Muslim organisations.

This is, clearly, a religious tax.

Abortion

Here in New South Wales we are less than three months away from a state election. Federally we are now less than two years away from the next election. Lots of issues and policies will be debated in all of these election campaigns—but one vital, life-or-death policy will be missing… namely: abortion.
