WELCOME TO THE MAY 2CH NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the May edition of our 2CH email newsletter.
Many of you have noticed recent changes to our music. We've been genuinely encouraged by your response and especially by your use of the email tab icon our web site home page. I have always said our listeners are our most important asset and over the years your contributions have made it so much easier to present the music you enjoy most of all. Clearly we are never going to please all of you all the time, however that's what we strive to do.

The Sisters of Charity Foundation
It's a sad fact, but there are around 18,000 young people in NSW who can't live at home through no fault of their own. Their parents have passed away, have severe mental illness or they're victims of abuse at home.
The Sisters of Charity Foundation Tertiary Scholarship Program is aimed at helping young people who've lived in foster care to study, go to university, and to go on to fulfilling careers.

Mardi Cole's 9 O'Clock special
Hello again,
Just a brief note from me, Mardi Cole, to let you know that I’m back on 2CH weekday evenings from 6pm to midnight and I'd love to have your company. One of the highlights of the shift for me is presenting The 9 O'Clock Special. This hour show puts the spotlight on a different musical singer or group each night, though occasionally, we present a show that has a certain theme running through it. Click on 'read more' to find out about the artists I'll be featuring in upcoming specials.

It was a beautiful, soaring ballad called 'Night of My Life' and was accompanied by a CD/DVD called 'The Winner's Journey', featuring all his Idol performances and two original songs. It too went to Number 1.

May is an odd month in the garden, there isn't much in flower except for the grevilleas and the camellias and it appears there is little to do but it can be deceiving.
