Hello. Firstly, thank you for the further suggestions I’ve had emailed to me of late regarding ideas for the “9 O’Clock Specials” I present each weeknight. Your input is always welcome and, more often than not, of great help.
You may also have heard me mentioning that I’m heading to China from October 26 this year. I’m very honoured that the great people at ‘ASIAQUEST TOURS’ have asked me to host this 16 day trip and I’m hoping I can entice some of you to come along with me...

Reverend Bill Crews
Recently I heard 2CH playing Paul Simons “I Am A Rock”. It took me back to the early days of my youth when I felt like that. How often life seems such a struggle and I was all alone in a world that didn’t seem to care or feel.
Nowadays I find many of the kids who come to my Exodus Foundation for help feel just like I did then. Only they have more and steeper mountains to climb than I did. I do all I can to help them. In the songs of Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan and their contemporaries I found solace and understanding.
Nowadays kids get that through many of the rappers of whom we understand as little about as our parents did of our musical heroes. Isn’t it funny how the music may change but often attitudes of parents and kids don’t. Perhaps if you identified with Paul Simon’s “I Am A Rock” you’d like to help me help those kids today who feel like we did then. I can be contacted through bill@billcrews.com.au.
