Matt James

In the early 1970's Matt James told his Mum & Dad that he wanted to be a disc jockey. It took a long time but after pestering and persuading the local station Matt finally got his wish and a small transmitter in Lithgow NSW made him come alive for the first time. Since then he's played records on the radio in Goulburn, Parkes, Nowra, Newcastle and Sydney. Matt told 2ch.com that he thinks the music on 2CH Easy 1170 is the best music on the radio anywhere in the world. Having worked on formats like Rock, Pop, Urban and Gold the music at 2CH is actually music Matt likes.

When Matt's not on the air he works in Programming and Production for 2CH and it's sister station 2GB. Making recorded promos, scheduling music and other components, writing, coaching and pushing buttons are just some of the other jobs that need doing in a radio station every day and Matt does them all.
