Steve Murphy celebrates his 25th year in commercial radio in 2005. Currently hosting shows on both 2CH Easy 1170 and 2GB 873.

Steve landed his first job as a DJ at 2BE in Bega (now 2EC). Later stations were 2ST Nowra, 3UL Gippsland (now 3GG), Radio 97 Gold Coast and 3MP in Melbourne, 2SM, 2UE and the Sky Radio Network.

He currently hosts 2CH Easy 1170 from midday until 4pm, along with his Nine O'clock Special, Monday to Friday night.

Each evening Steve features the all time great stars, presents soundtracks from the award winning stage productions like 'Showboat', 'The Sound of Music' and 'Phantom of the opera'. Steve regularly invites acts like Amici Forever, Il Divo and others to help him present the greatest easy listening music of all time.
