GEORGE ILICH
George Ilich began his radio career as an announcer at 2GN Goulburn and later as Drive Time Host and Production Manager.
At the same time George was the booth announcer at Capital 7 TV in Canberra.
In 1984 George moved to Wollongong where he worked at 2OO (Two double O) for four years and WIN Television.
Since 1988 George has been with 2CH Easy 1170, making him the longest consecutive serving announcer - now over 17 years.
George's listeners always comment about his fabulous voice and he has been a finalist in the Golden Voice of Australasia on numerous occasions.
George is an avid fan of cooking, specialising in European cuisine , in particular Balkan cuisine. He has sung with the Serbian Orthodox Choir "St. George" for well over 30 years.
You can hear George as he hosts the 2CH overnight show weekdays, and every Saturday and Sunday afternoon during the 2CH Stress Free Weekend.
